::Senjyu Sushi @ e@Curve::

Here is my another Groupon purchase. 60% off: Assorted Sashimi OR Seafood Tempura Set for RM13.90 instead of RM34.80. With 1749 people bought this voucher, we had some minor problem with our reservation and end up having it at quite an odd time.
The entrance, environment and ambiance always give me this feeling that Senjyu must be one of the fine dining Japanese restaurant. So when Groupon giving out offer, I must grab it!

We ordered Rainbow Maki RM28 as our snack :)
Yummy! :)
And here come our voucher redemption. Assorted Seafood Tempura Set.
And assorted sashimi set.
For tempura set, the rice is warm and for sashimi set, the rice is cold (some kind like sushi rice).
To be frank, the presentation of the bento kinda disappointed me.
For tempura set - consists more of vegie tempura.
For sashimi set - the slices looks too thin and only 4 types.
And when I dig into the rice, it only consists of a thin layer of rice.
Same for both set.
Oh well.. I can't complaint much as this is discounted set. But hey.. since you gave the discount, shouldn't it be the same portion as the un-discounted? Maybe I should just assume that the un-discounted set contains the same portion as well. If that is the case, well .. uh-huh .. it's quite pricey huh?!
I am disappointed with the service as well. I only have one cup of ocha. The waitress was 'too busy' to refill for us even though we had requested several time. Same goes to when we requested for our bill. Perhaps we should have just leave without paying.

::Ole Ole Bali @ Sunway Pyramid::

I had been here several times too! LOL!
This time I bring the bf here for a 'candle light fine dining of nasi campur'. Next time I will just bring him to the REAL candle lite nasi campur - by the road side.
How romantic..
The music and decoration brings back the feel of Bali.
Mojito Lemongrass RM13 .. I always ordered this here.
Ice blended honey dew with mint and honey RM11. Yummy!~
Nasi Campur RM35 - you will get a small bowl of white rice, satay ikan, rendang ayam, chili kangkung, grilled squids and prawns (yummy!) and grilled fish. 2 of us shared this. It's not fulfilling enough to share this but will be too much if we ordered one more extra dish.

::Pasta Zanmai @ Midvalley::

Pasta Zanmai.
I'd been here a few times and I still like it a lot. It's a combination of Japanese and Western style of foods; but they are blend together so well.
On our meet up last week, Sakura suggested to have a gossip session here and here we are .. :)
Each of us ordered a handroll. None of us choose to wrap it with seaweed as we wanted to try the Tortilla wrap version. This is nothing new for me because before I came to know Pasta Zanmai had this, I had already created one of this at home myself. (Thought I was brilliant, only to know this is available at many places. LOL) .. The handroll we have with salmon and soft shell crab cost RM5 each.
We ordered 2 mini set and share among 3 of us. Sakura was worried that the portion might not be enough. But be assured, it will be more than enough. The first set was Mini Unagi Omu Rice to Mini Kani Avocado Gomadare Pasta, RM23.
Mini unagi omu rice or translated as mini unagi garlic fried rice with egg and miso soup. Tasted very nice! Thumbs up!
The pasta is even nicer. We took our time keeping it in our mouth to figure out what ingredients had been use and imagining how to make one of this back at home. Hehe..
The second mini set are Mini Ikura Salmon Sashimi Pasta to Mini Chicken Katsu Rice, RM23. Again.. the pasta is so nice!!~
We seriously couldn't finish this. This is so-so normal only for us.

I'm glad we have made it! One more gossip session before Li Xin heading back to Penang. Which means we might never have this kind of gossip session as frequent anymore in the future.. (T.T)

::Nando's @ The Curve::

Nando's - again. It's been one of my favourite fast food of grilled chicken.
Not satisfy and feel cheated with the over-charge Nando's in Perth, we revenge by eating more in Malaysia! LOL.
This half chicken only cost RM23.90 where as in Perth, for quarter chicken already cost AU$12.50! That is around RM35 after convert with rate of 3.2! Nah.. you can't compare it that way anyway.. The chicken in Perth is very well marinated and grilled and it tasted so much more delicious. The choices is up to you :)

::Lecka Lecka @ Cineleisure::

While waiting for our movie ..
We pass by Lecka Lecka - a mini booth located in front of Cineleisure cinema.
We saw the Digi advertisement board - RM6.90 for 3 scoop of ice cream gelato. Scanning through the menu, we saw one scoop already cost RM5.90 (if I'm not mistaken) .. so I guess this is worthy. So we flash our Digi logo on the phone and get ourselves 3 scoops of ice cream ^^
Nice creamy cooling ice cream gelato.

:: Victoria Station @ Jalan Ampang ::

I remember when we were still little children, daddy will brought us for a good meal in Victoria Station once in a blue moon. Then after shifted home and we all growing up, we rarely went out hunting for good foods together anymore.

This time, in conjunction with my sister's graduation and bonus month, we went to Victoria Station at Jalan Ampang .. to splurge some cash.
All Victoria Station I went have the similar design. Train heads, train bodies .. stations..
We did not get to sit in the train body. They cannot accommodate the many of us. Disappointed.
Mango Juice RM9.90. Fresh Mango indeed.
Cream of mushroom RM6.90. Very creamy indeed. Delicious - while hot, not after cold. So.. best to be serve piping hot.
Grilled Fish Fillet RM21.90
Grilled Chicken Roast RM18.90
BBQ Fish Fillet RM23.90

Overall, the foods is just average for me. Perhaps we should try the steak .. cause as I know, Victoria Station is well-known for fine steak.

::Perth Day 6: Fremantle - Perth::

Day 6: our last day in Perth. And the most relaxing one.
We started the day early by heading to King's Park. After the bus driver (oh.. do check out that bus in Perth operates for free. I like their efficiency. On time and need not wait long.) drop us at the station, we walk to King's Park and pass by the Parliament!
Very sunny day.
View from King's Park.. we didn't walk deep inside. I need to save my energy for other activities today :)
So we went back to Perth city and have a brisk walk in the city.
We saw this! 0km. All distance starts calculation from here. Interesting.
The city was a bit crowded with high security that day due to the CHOGM event.
It doesn't bother or interrupt us anyway..
We stop by Bell Tower. The bells are ringing that particular day. Perhaps due to the CHOGM event and Queen's Birthday. We did not enter the tower though. We just hang around at the park surrounding it.
So.. this is Perth City.
We then headed to board our ferry - Captain Cook which we had bought the tickets earlier through online. RM45 for 2 pax (after 10% discount). One way from Perth to Fremantle. Just to experience boarding a ferry in Perth.
We choose to sit at the open air.
Bye bye Perth!~
It's a good experience to try taking ferry from Perth to Fremantle. Something different to be seen.
Arriving after 45 minutes. E-Shed is a good place to get souvenirs! But it only operates on Fri-Sun.

We had our lunch at Cicerello's. Another famous fish n chips is at Kaili's.
Crowded with people due to it's holiday in Perth.
The menu.
We had seafood tray for AU$18.50. Well.. honestly I think the one we had at Malaysia Manhattan Fish Market taste better.
Very sunny but I still feel very cold.
Kaili's which located opposite.
We had a walk in Fremantle Markets.. but bought nothing :)

We then stop by Fremantle Prison. Due to the entrance fees was quite expensive, we skipped.
We spent time leisuring around the town.
Before heading back Perth City by train.
At night, we have a walk around Perth City again. Stopping by London Court. A miniature of Harry Potter's town. Nice!
And had our dinner at Nando's. Where we got cheated!! @@
So expensive! The chicken only cost AUD6.50; we add on coleslaw and orange juice (which we thought suppose to come in as a set, like in Malaysia), but it actually cost us extra AUD6 .. @@
But the chicken definitely much nicer and well marinated.

We had few hours fast nap before heading to airport. Muffin which cost us AUD4.80 .. just to fulfill my greed cause the muffins at Aussie looks so tempting. LOL.
And here's the souvenirs..

Overall, we had a very great trip. We bought the ticket 10 months earlier (yep.. during my 2010 birthday as a birthday gift to me!). I had read and read and plan and plan and here it is.. the whole journey. Although there are a few places we need to drop out due to our tight schedule, we still feel this trip is very great. A lot of things we had seen and tried. Especially experience of driving in Perth, the free bus ride, the ferry ride and also train ride, not forgetting our legs that had walked a lot.
I love the cold weather, despite at times it left me breathless and shivering non stop (yeah.. i'm that bad in handling cold environment) .. but the view and feel just make all this worthy.
And although I wish we are filthy rich so that we can enjoy the trip with a more luxurious way.. but I guess at this time being.. this is quite luxurious in a way already. Hope can travel to a place like this again sometime.. New Zealand perhaps? =)
