::Yuritei @ Sentul Koi::

I was introduce to this place by the bf. A plan for my birthday which I had 'destroy'. Hoho ...
Then browsing through people's blog about this place makes me wanted to come so much. Never been here myself yet I had introduced this place to a few friends which then claim that they love it. As the comments from other blogs, the place is nice but not the foods.

Until one day .. Here I am ..
Nice seating facing the lake.
Hidden in the middle of the city.
A Japanese garden - alike that will soothe the eyes.
Not much such place in the hustle bustle of KL, isn't it?
California temaki RM6
Salmon Temaki RM6
Tempura Udon RM12
Pineapple Fried Rice RM12.

Okie.. Enough of the praises. Let's get to the fact. My comment: The food is not worth the price. Needless to say, it does.not.taste .. well.. good. The service sucks .. with only 3 staff (the chef, the cashier and the waiter) - waiting is a must. Especially to wait for the foods. The environment not as nice as imagine. Yea .. the greenies and the lake soothes the eyes, plus hidden in the middle of a city .. but the inner side of the restaurant, which I assume 'energy saving' or 'cost-busting' etc. - with no air-conditioner nor fan to ventilate makes me feel stuffy and warm. Menu comprises varieties of foods - from Japanese style, to Western style to Malaysian style. But too bad, apparently the Western menu is just for fun-viewing - not available for order. Option of drinks is only lemon tea, pineapple juice and apple juice - from the bottle. Urghhh!!~
So the thought of relaxing with a cup of tea, chit-chatting with friends here had been diminished. Ah.. I expect too much before I came. End up I go back with disappointment.

::Curry Mee @ Semenyih::

I was told long time ago, that the wan tan mee and curry mee at this little coffee shop is worth a try. Located at Semenyih small town, just beside SRJKC Sin Min, at a tiny corner. I came once long time ago, but gave up waiting as the crowd is just too large for a tiny coffee shop. So today, in our hunt of curry mee to compare which is the best, we came early in the morning at 830am. Ridiculuos that I would even wake up that early =.=lll
This is my first time encounter with this type of ordering system. You walk in, find your table, lucky enough to get one, sit and wait to be serve. Don't waste your effort waiving your butterfly arm to them, as what we stupidly did. As.. they took order, they prepare for you, only then proceed to the next customer. First come first serve, one by one. Guess it's to avoid taking too many orders and end up miss out or overlook. Patience is very important here.
Tiny coffee shop as the oldies. Sometimes I feel that foods from this type of stall tasted much better. Sometimes..
Teh ping. Not to my favor.
Roti Bakar.
Yummy half boiled eggs!
Large Curry Mee at RM4.70. Broth is thick enough. Nice and traditional curry mee with yellow mee, tauge, taufu-pop and cockle. A nice traditional style of curry mee. I personally prefer the one beside Semenyih Market, modern version of curry mee - with additional long fingers, wild boar meat etc.
Here you go. A glance of it :)
Our breakfast for our labor break day!~ Simple, cost-saving, fulfilling.
