Hai Nam Kopitiam @ Batu Pahat

I googled and found some recommendation for this kopitiam.
So we head there for a light breakfast.

Steam bread in basket.
Butter + kaya toast bread.
Half-boiled egg.
Hai Nam coffee.

Well, overall the foods taste normal and the coffee was not to our liking.

Ali, Muthu & Ah Hock @ KL

On one of the long weekend, we took MRT to Pasar Seni and walk few meters away for Malaysian breakfast at Ali, Muthu & Ah Hock.
The exterior.
The interior.
The nasi lemak from next table look so tempting. So we ordered one.
This is good. The rice was aromatic. The sambal was good and the chicken was very crispy at the outside, tender in the inside :)
We also ordered Lontong since we had not been eating this for a very long time.
However, turn out disappointed. The Lontong was too dilute and slightly too sweet.
And also a cup of coffee.
The coffee was not to our liking too.
Thus, for this trip, only the nasi lemak catch our heart. They have varieties of Malaysian foods in the menu, in which we will try out someday.

Hwa Ga San Nae Deul @ Sunway Giza

A catch from 11th Street. Bought the set meal for RM36 :))
Comes with 6 side dishes, 5 types of meat, kimchi soup, 2 bowl of rice.
*the non-marinated meat tasted a bit bland though and the side dishes provided was not to my liking
One pancake.
*this tasted OK.
And one steam egg.
*this tasted very bland.

Overall, the portion is really too big for 2 pax.
A great deal indeed to fulfill hungry tummy.

Chong Kok Kopitiam @ Klang

A good Sunday morning for me is to have big breakfast (Malaysian Style) together with good friends which will only happen once in a blue moon.

This time, we choose to have the breakfast at Chong Kok Kopitiam, Klang.
It's my second time here and the crowd never ends. Crowded by Malay, Chinese and Indians, this shops really give the One Malaysia feel :)
Nasi lemak from the stall with long queue. RM12 for both above.
I don't really fancy this type of nasi lemak, as I find it too 'wet' for my liking.
So I go for the small packet nasi lemak. RM1.50.
Tauhu sumbat.
Fried mee hon. Not to my liking as well. It only taste of black pepper.
Half boiled egg that hubby like so much from this shop.
He claimed that the half boiled egg from this shop is very good in texture and taste.
And of course the star of the shop .. coffee.
A must try if you are here :)
